Some Words of Wisdom

What can you say about
such a fine group of people? I will let their words speak for themselves.
We just want to add that we have felt privileged to work and grow together
with this group. Thank you for supporting us and teaching us during these
two years. Vanuatu is better because of your presence. You will be missed,

Professionally
speaking: don’t just stick to working at your “site”, - Some of our greatest
success has happened outside the RTC and in the community. And
figure out your skills, what you like doing and what the existing community
opportunities/ needs are and then decide on a secondary project that
reflects all of these and then you will feel/be successful- and
sometimes you have to go outside your job description to do this. –Judy
Don’t initiate
community projects on your own. If your really want a project to be
sustainable and successful, find a local person to lead; you can support and
facilitate…working with individuals you can be more productive. -Ali
